Damage Dodge is a badge that appears in the Paper Mario series.

In Paper Mario, Damage Dodge is found twice. The first time this badge appears is in Chapter 2. Near the beginning of this chapter, Mario scales Mt. Rugged and on the west side, he finds a treasure chest in a secret hole. On the far west side, Mario can access a slope upward in a small cave. By going up the hole, he can find this badge in a treasure chest. The other copy of this badge is found with ease but takes some time. Rowf get's this badge in at his shop in Toad Town. It is here, after chapter 5, Damage Dodge will be on sale for 150 coins. Mario can purchase and obtain the badge. In this game, Damage Dodge costs 3 BP to wear and gives Mario a very helpful effect. Every Time Mario uses the defend action, he gains another point to his defense. It may not look it, but this effect is makes Damage Dodge one of the best badges in the game.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Damage Dodge, once again has two sets. It also is one of the many badges with a partner variant. One of the locations this badge has is in the sewers below Rogueport. It is here, Mario access chapter 2. Before he goes in the secret room with the warp pipe leading into Boggly Woods, Mario should go the opposite direction of this secret path. This way leads to a pillar with this badge on top. The other copy of this badge is once again purchased from the badge shop in this game. The Lovely Howz of Badges also sells this badge for a price of 150 coins. If Mario encounters any Red Chomps on his adventures, he could be able to steal these badges from them, so long as he has Ms. Mowz in his party.
