- Not to be confused with three similarly-named courts: Donkey Kong Court, from Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64, Jungle Court, from Mario Tennis for the Game Boy Color, and DK Jungle, from Mario Tennis Open.
DK Jungle Court is a tennis court belonging to Donkey Kong in Mario Power Tennis. It is also the court where the Special Game Balloon Panic takes place.
Description[]
DK Jungle Court takes place on wooden platform on a river, with a small waterfall in the background. There is also a small set of tracks on which a Mine Cart with Ukikis ride around on. Green, red, and Blue Kritters are seen spectating the match.
If the gimmicks are on, Klaptraps appear on the net during gameplay. If a character hits a Klaptrap, it goes to their opponent's side of the court. If a Klaptrap bites a character's leg, this slows the character, making it harder for them to return the ball. Occasionally, a Thunder Lakitu shoots several thunderbolts at the Klaptraps on one side of the court, causing them to run away burnt.
Trivia[]
- DK Dock from Mario Hoops 3-on-3 may have been inspired by this course because it also takes place on a wooden platform headed down the stream.
