DK Jungle is the first course in Special Cup in Mario Kart 7. The course takes place in Jungle Hijinxs, and is based on Donkey Kong Country Returns. As the name applies, this course is owned by Donkey Kong.
DK's House is seen here, along with enemies like Tiki Goons and Screaming Pillars. DK Barrels can be found in the course, as well as frogs similar to Frogoons, which can be seen when approaching the Golden Temple. Like all other tracks, there is an area in the course where gliding is required, where the driver glides over a lake. If he or she falls, they will end up driving underwater until reaching shore again, which can slow the player down a little bit.
The song is based on the Jungle Hijinxs theme song; arguably the most famous Donkey Kong song.
The track returns in Mario Kart 8 as the last track of the Banana Cup.
