DK's Banana Bonus is a boss minigame in Mario Party 9. It and Diddy's Banana Blast are the two boss minigames of DK's Jungle Ruins.
Opening[]
Donkey Kong is seen pounding his chest. As the camera zooms out, Donkey Kong slams the platform he is on, and the bananas fly in.
Gameplay[]
The objective for each character is to collect as many bananas as possible before the time runs out. The bananas fly in from both sides of the screen, and the characters can launch out of Barrel Cannons to collect them. Donkey Kong also throws in a golden Barrel Cannon, which moves across the top of the screen. If a character enters the golden Barrel Cannon, they are shot into a higher area with Banana Bunches worth three bananas and a massive gold Banana Bunch worth ten.
The amount of Bananas collected by each player are added to their total in the DK's Jungle Ruins board map.

- Rules – Blast out of the Barrel Cannons, and grab as many bananas as you can! Launch yourself into the moving Barrel Cannon to reach even greater heights.
- Controls – Hold the Wii Remote sideways. Press
to launch yourself out of the Barrel Cannon. Press 
to move left or right while in midair.
Trivia[]
- Despite DK's Banana Bonus and Diddy's Banana Blast being categorized as boss minigames, they have more similarity to bonus minigames.
