The Crystal Berry is a key item that appears in Paper Mario
History [ ] The Crystal Berry is given to Mario by Posie , who is attached to the Crystal Tree by her roots. It is tasked to Mario to obtain the Water Stone for Lily at the far east end of Flower Fields . Upon finding the stone, it was in the possession of Rosie , a pompous rose at the northwest edge of Flower Fields. Mario convinces Posie that if he obtains an item that is even shinier than the stone, he can trade it to her. He then sets out for Posie down south. After he talks to Posie, he obtains this item and later trades this Crystal Berry for the Water Stone with Rosie .
