Crazy Crosshairs is a 2-vs.-2 minigame in Mario Party DS.

Layout[]

Teams play in a garden, standing on toy tanks that aim at a web infested with Scuttlebugs.

Gameplay[]

The characters must aim and shoot at Scuttlebugs to gain points. To do so, one player on each team must aim horizontally, and the other player must aim vertically. Normal Scuttlebugs are worth one point, while golden ones are worth three. The team who shoots more Scuttlebugs wins; if both teams shoot the same number of Scuttlebugs, the minigame ends in a tie.

In Mario Party DS[]

Crazy Crosshairs is one of the minigames to not appear in Simple Set.

Controls[]

  • A Button – Control the crosshair

Flavor text[]

  • Rules"Shoot as many Scuttlebugs as you can. Golden ones are worth three points. You and your partner split the aiming into horizontal and vertical control!"
  • Tips"The first player to press a button locks in aiming control. The second one then fires. *character on the right* has vertical control, and *character on the left* has horizontal control."

Trivia[]

  • The toy tanks that the players use to shoot the Scuttlebugs bear a large resemblance to the tanks that are used in Shell Shocked from Mario Party 2.
