Cranky's Kong Barrel

Cranky's Kong Barrels are special types of barrels that appear in the game Donkey Kong 64.

History[]

Cranky's Kong Barrels are found throughout levels of DK Isles and jumping into these barrels allows the Kongs to use their transformations or powerups. However, in order to use one of Cranky's Kong Barrels, one must visit Cranky Kong in his lab first. After paying for a potion, the Kong will be able to use the barrels (they will become solid instead of intangible. All use of powerups from Cranky's Kong Barrels require Crystal Coconuts to use.

Types of Cranky's Barrels[]

Strong Kong: This is used by Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong will become invincible and will be able to cross over hazards.
Rocketbarrel Boost: This is used by Diddy Kong. Diddy will be able to take to the skies reaching areas that the other Kongs cannot access. Diddy can also use his Peanut Popguns in this mode.
OrangStand Sprint: This is used by Lanky Kong. Lanky will move at superhuman speeds allowing him to get to areas quicker and keep up with fast characters.
Mini-Monkey: This is used by Tiny Kong. Tiny will shrink to small size allowing her to fit into small openings.
Hunky Chunky: This is used by Chunky Kong. Chunky will grow to a large size and will be able to pick up large bolders and press large switches.
