Countdown Platform

Not to be confused with Count-Lift.

Countdown Platforms (also referred to as One-Jump Platforms) are a type of object featured in the Yoshi platforming games, in which they debut in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They are floating white platforms with large, red spots and a preset number on them, ranging from as low as 1 and generally as high as 4 in their appearances.

Whenever a Yoshi lands on a Countdown Platform, it gets pressed down, then by moving or jumping off, the Countdown Platform goes down a number. If a Yoshi goes off a Countdown Platform with the number 1, the Countdown Platform vanishes.
