- Not to be confused with Countdown Platform.
A Count-Lift, sometimes named a Countdown Platform, is an object which first appears in Super Mario World.
Description[]
A Count-Lift is a dirt-like platform covered with grass on the top, somewhat like a dug up patch of dirt, and has a countdown timer in the middle. Whenever Mario or Luigi jump onto a Count-Lift, it moves to the right in a straightforward path while counting down. When the timer reaches zero, the Count-Lift falls. A Count-Lift can only be stood on for a few seconds, with the exact number usually being one second.
In the games[]
In Super Mario World, Count-Lifts only appear in one level, Valley of Bowser 3.
In Game & Watch Gallery 3, a Count-Lift makes an appearance in the modern remake of Turtle Bridge.
