Mario Party

Control Shtick is a Battle mini-game in Mario Party 6.

Opening[]

Each character is on a podium, facing the camera, before being turned around by their podium. A random pose is shown on the screen in front of them, which each character performs correctly.

Gameplay[]

The minigame involves using both the Control Stick and Camera stick on the Nintendo GameCube Controller. Whenever the screen displays two arrows, the player must tilt the Control Stick in the direction of the arrow on the left and the same with the C-Stick for the arrow on the right. Whoever does an incorrect pose falls through a hole, and is eliminated from the mini-game. As the mini-game progresses, the characters are required to perform quicker reactions. Whoever is the last character remaining is the winner, although if ever none of the characters perform the correct pose, they are all eliminated, resulting in a tie.

Controls[]

  • Control Stick: Control left hand
  • Camera stick: Control right hand

Trivia[]

  • Its name is a pun on "control stick," a directional stick used on various video game controllers.
