A Control Coin are a type of coin and an object which first appears in Super Mario World. A Control Coin is uncommon, and upon being released from its ? Block, a Control Coin can have its movement controlled by the player to create a trail of coins, which Mario or Luigi can then collect. This ends once the the Control Coin touches a wall or an object. Aside from returning in the Game Boy Advance remake Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, Control Coins also appear in Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, within two World-e levels, Doors o' Plenty and Vexing Doors.
