Clear Pipe Cruise is the first course in World 6 in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. It is unlocked via completing King Ka-thunk's Castle, and completing Clear Pipe Cruise unlocks Spooky Seasick Wreck. Clear Pipe Cruise is also the fourth course of the Bonus Episode in the Wii U version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

Layout[]

The level starts on a set of platforms with some Fire Piranha Plants, Mines, and Clear Pipes nearby, followed by a Warp Box which transports the player to the next area. After avoiding some enemies, the player reaches the Checkpoint Flag. A nearby Clear Pipe takes the player to an upwards slope filled with Clear Pipes with Fuzzies in them. A Warp Box and a Piranha Plant-infested area follows, allowing the player to reach an area where five Key Coins need to be collected in order to progress. The last Warp Box of the level transports the player to an area with Captain Toad and the Goal Pole.

Collectibles[]

The following only apply to Super Mario 3D World and its remake, not Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

Green Stars[]

  1. In the second section of Clear Pipes, there is a Starman. Use it to break through two Spike Balls in the pipe to obtain the Green Star between them.
  2. In the second Clear Pipe loop, there is a Green Star.
  3. Be in Fire form to throw fireballs that can break through two Spike Balls to reveal a pipe that leads to a Cloud Cannon, leading up to a Coin Heaven where the Green Star is at the end.

Stamps[]

Clear Pipe Cruise Stamp

After the checkpoint, there is a long clear pipe. Rather than launching yourself through the pipe, jump on top of it. You may need a cat suit, seeing as the pipe curves upward, but if you want to you could also try to jump up. If you succeed, the stamp will be right there.

Optional mission[]

  • An 8-bit Luigi can be found on the clear pipe on the curve, under the stamp.
  • In Captain Toad: Treasure Trackers, another 8-bit Luigi is at the bottom of a pillar near the first Fuzzies.
