Circus Kongs are a recurring enemy in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series. They first appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis.
Profile[]
Physical description[]
Circus Kongs are monkey robots with a near-identical appearance to a Mini Donkey Kong, except Circus Kongs wear a necktie with a "C," given that their first name starts with that letter.
Behavior[]
If any Minis come into contact with a Circus Kong, it throws them upward and juggles them back and forth, causing the Minis to remain suspended in the air. In Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!, a Circus Kong can only carry up to two Minis at a time, and any additional Minis will be thrown aside and briefly stunned if they touch the Circus Kong. A Circus Kong cannot damage a Mini unless it throws them into a harmful object.
Circus Kongs can stop juggling the Minis if another Mini uses Hammers or Fire Flower against one, causing the Circus Kong to flip over and flail around temporarily and allowing the Minis to move past it. An exclamation mark appears over a stunned Circus Kong shortly before it flips back upright.
