Layout[]
Right at the start of the level is a Dino-Rhino, with a Dino-Torch up ahead on the slants. As the player continues they will come across more Dino-Rhinos and Dino-Torches, passing a bush with a Super Mushroom that jumps out of it and also a winged ? Block. The player will soon make it to a green pipe containing a Jumping Piranha Plant, with a Dino-Torch sliding off a raised slope above it. Right up ahead is a yellow pipe and a slanted green pipe, the first Dragon Coin next to it.
Enter the yellow pipe and the green one will shoot the player out, down a hill with a Dino-Rhino. The player will then be met with a gap and a spring, above it a Checkpoint. If the player wishes to get the checkpoint, it is advised to jump carefully so the player doesn't miss it, or end up falling. Next is a P Switch and a small pool of Munchers with a Chargin' Chuck. Hit the P Switch to make the coins turn into blocks that you can safely walk across, though avoid the Chargin' Chuck that falls down from the lone brick above that turns into a coin. After passing you'll find the second Dragon Coin. The player will then pass some more Dino enemies with another Winged ? Block, and a gap that should be jumped over, getting the third Dragon Coin just above. The player will then find a ? Block containing a Yoshi egg right before two yellow pipes, followed by two purple pipes. The fourth Dragon Coin is right above a Yellow ! Block.
The purple pipe before four Red ! Blocks will take you to a water sub area with dolphins and two Porcu-Puffer swimming below. The player should carefully make their way to the other side as the dolphins jump to the left direction, and collect the coins in the air if they wish.
The pipe out of the subarea will shoot the player out of the slanted green pipe (if the player didn't go to the sub area, then they should've entered the grey pipe) and over the huge gap, and most likely hitting a Koopa Paratroopa. You will automatically collect the fifth Dragon Coin above a spring before the Goal Pole.
Trivia[]
- The checkpoint disappears physically if the player returns after losing a life.
- Furthermore, skipping the first cannon won't make the checkpoint appear.
- This level has a 3-up moon on a high up cloud platform but it doesn't show up unless the players takes the first cannon.
