Character Switch

A Character Switch is an object in Super Mario 3D World and its remake Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.

Description[]

A Character Switch is a type of P Switch with either Mario's, Luigi's, Princess Peach's, Toad's, or Rosalina's emblem printed on it: Mario's emblem depicts a red "M" emblem; Luigi's depicts a green "L" emblem; Peach's depicts an emblem of her crown; Toad's depicts his head; and Rosalina's depicts a Grand Star.

The Character Switch can only be pressed and activated by the character whose emblem is shown can press the switch. When the switch is pressed, in most cases a stamp appears, but the switches can also reveal a Green Star or a line of coins.
