Chained Kongs are enemies which appear in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are only encountered in Barrel Volcano.
Physical description[]
Chained Kongs are a stronger variant of Guerrillas They bear a great resemblance to Donkey Kong, except they wear a gray, spiked collar on both wrists and ankles as well as their head. A Chained Kong has a steel ball attached to the collar on its left wrist.
Battle[]
In battle, Chained Kongs only attack physically as they possess no special attacks but their attack power is very high. They also have very high HP.
Strategy[]
Chained Kong's only weakness is Ice, so Mallow's Snowy move is very effective against them.
