Chain Saw is a Duel minigame in Mario Party Advance.
In Mario Party Advance[]
In Shroom City mode, Chain Saw is played during the quest Chomper Stomper, which Chain Chomp has the player's character duel him in after they accept the quest. If the player's character wins, they unlock the minigame.
Gameplay[]
Two characters each have to saw the chains suspending a Thwomp above their opponent's heads by quickly alternating between 
and 
. If a character saws the chain too fast, they are forced to temporarily stop and rest. The speed at which a character is sawing is indicated by the number of sweat drops that appear behind their head. Whoever saws through the chain first causes the Thwomp above their opponent to fall onto them, therefore ending the minigame and ranking the other character the winner.

- The minigame is named for "chainsaw," a type of saw mainly used for cutting trees, but the minigame separates it into two words.
