Catch the Breeze is the fifth level of World 1 in Yoshi's Island DS, a Purple Yoshi takes control in this level. This level takes place in the grassy fields of Yoshi's Island with a nice view of the sea and introduces Stork Stops and the ability to switch between babies, the level also introduces Baby Peach and her ability to use her pink umbrella to fly with the wind. After the completion of this level, Stork Stops will appear in previous levels allowing you to obtain collectables you weren't able to collect before.

Walkthrough[]

Starting off the level, advance to the right and be sure to enter the first Pipe there (spawning Shy Guys), this pipe will lead you to a secret area with a Smiley Flower, grab the Flower and exit the area to return to the main level, next jump in between the blue "cheese blocks" and in the right corner, there is an invisible Winged Cloud, use an egg to hit it and get some Stars, after this, hop back up the platforms to reach the Stork Stop, after an introduction, use the Stork Stop to call the Stork over and hop up to the Stork to switch to Baby Peach, Baby Peach's abilities allow you to fly across the skies with the wind (but her egg-tosses aren't as strong and they instantly break upon impact (without ricocheting)), use her abilities to glide with the wind collecting the Coins and Red Coins on your way up.

Upon reaching the top of the wall, in the next area, tag the Middle Ring and use the next wind gust to reach the higher ledges to grab some Coins, Red Coins, and a Smiley Flower, drop back down, avoid the Shy Guys, and use the wind again to reach a higher ledge, collect the Coins and Red Coins up here, a Smiley Flower is also seen to the left, grab that as well, and then advance to the right and defeat the Piranha Plant in the area, hit the idle Winged Cloud to get some Stars, then drop down and grab the Coins and hit the next Winged Cloud to get some more Stars. Beat the Crazee Dayzees, Piranha Plants, and Shy Guys in your way and advance to the right and use the wind to glide upward (while avoiding the Glide Guy) and trigger the invisible Winged Cloud to appear, hit the Winged Cloud with an egg to get some more Stars, after this, advance to the left and glide up across to the right collecting the Coins and three Red Coins in the direction, then drop down to the ledge into the small niche, there is an invisible Winged Cloud here, hit it with an egg to get a Smiley Flower, next use the blowing wind to hop onto the Donut Lifts and hop across each set to reach a high alcove with two Coins, two Red Coins, and the Baby Coin. After collecting the goodies, hit the Winged Cloud in the area to get some more Coins and the return back to the main path. Drop down and avoid or beat the Shy Guys, Woozy Guys, and Piranha Plants and continue onward using the wind to get the aligned Coins and Red Coins while reaching a ledge which contains more Coins and Red Coins, drop back down to grab another row of Coins and use the next wind gust to glide up higher to get some more Coins and a Red Coin then reach the ledge to get some Coins and hit a Winged Cloud for a prize, drop down to get some more Coins and then use the large wind gust at the end to reach an alcove halfway, avoid the Piranha Plants, Crazee Dayzees, and Glide Guys here and grab the Coins and Red Coins as well as hitting the Winged Cloud for a 1-Up. After this, glide even higher, to grab the final Red Coin and flutter to the left to grab some Coins and a Smiley Flower, after this, flutter back to the right to reach the high ledge with the GOAL! Ring, jump through the ring to finish the level.
