Casual Slacks

Casual Slacks is a clothing item featured in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.

In the games[]

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Casual Slacks are sold at the Beanbean Castle Town clothes shop for 550 coins. It increases HP by 20 and Defense by 70. In the Japanese version, the Casual Slacks are at a higher price of 900 coins, owing to how it now increases HP by 30.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, Casual Slacks becomes available at the clothes shop after defeating Popple and Birdo. It is priced at 1,000, closer to its price in the original's Japanese version than the international versions. Casual Slacks now increases Defense by 79 and BP by 10, but it no longer increases any HP. Whereas Casual Slacks did not have any special effect in the original game, it received the Guard Guardian as its special effect in the remake.
