Cardinal Rule

Cardinal Rule is a 2-vs-2 minigame which appears in Mario Party 7.

Gameplay[]

During a round, each team, consisting of two characters, has to be the first to Ground Pound onto whichever card pair matches the one displayed on the large mirror. The card pairs consist of a Goomba, a Koopa Troopa, and a Bob-omb as well as variations of each type showing them asleep. Both teams have ten seconds in each round to match a card pair, and the first team to do so earns a point.

Trivia[]

The minigame has the same name as the phrase "cardinal rule," but is a pun because the minigame involves the use of cards.
