Title
Captain N: The Game Master is an animated television series which ran from 1989 to 1991. While it is not a Mario show, Captain N: The Game Master does have references to the franchise, and Donkey Kong appears in some of the episodes. The show was produced by DIC Entertainment, and it is based on the Captain N comics in Nintendo Comics System.
The show stars Kevin Keene, a Nintendo Entertainment System gamer who is transported into Videoland to fight Mother Brain and other villains while allied by several protagonists of Nintendo Entertainment System games, such as Pit and Mega Man.
