Cannon Swing

Cannon Swing is Birdo's Star Swing in Mario Super Sluggers. It replaces her Weird Ball move from Mario Superstar Baseball, which itself is replaced with the Suction Ball.

Description[]

Cannon Swing works similarly to Yoshi's Egg Swing. Upon initiating Cannon Swing, Birdo spits out an egg with bow silhouettes on it and then hits it. The egg flies in front of the ball, stunning any character whom it hits. After a while, the ball falls behind, leaving it open for a diving catch. Most characters with a Super Dive ability can catch the ball from behind the egg.
