Candles are enemies which appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Like Oils, Candles just float up and down and injure Mario if he touches them. A Candle can only be defeated by using a hammer. Candles make a reappearance in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis.
