Bubbler the Octopus is the third boss in Diddy Kong Racing and Diddy Kong Racing DS found in Sherbet Island. He, along with Tricky, Bluey, and Smokey, were brainwashed by Wizpig and was given the third piece of the Wizpig Amulet.
When the player is done with all the races on Sherbet Island, he/she is able to race Bubbler who throws aquatic mines down in the water or inky bubbles in the rematch on which the player must avoid when riding his/her boat. They race inside a cave for more than half the race. Or on small islands with palm trees and sand. After the player finishes racing against Bubbler and wins, Bubbler opens the Silver Coin Challenges and the player gains a piece of the Wizpig Amulet.
