The Brrrning Sea is one of the five major seas visited in Mario & Luigi: Brothership, more specifically the third. It can be visited after Connie reactivates the Great Lighthouse of the Color-Full Sea. It is in the southeastern corner of the map, situated to the south of the Gulchrock Sea, east of the Color-Full Sea, and southeast of the Lushgreen and Stormstar Seas.
Major Islands[]
The Brrrning Sea, as with the first two seas, has four major islands drifting through its waters. Four of them have to deal with temperature.
- Bulbfish Island -- A place famous for Bulbfishes. When the Bros. visit, they have to solve a mystery regarding theft. Prince Chilliam and Princess Burnadette can be found here.
- Heatfreeze Island -- This island can be visited following the mystery on Bulbfish Island, and is split in half down the middle with one side being covered in fire and the other frozen. A cooking fight between different elemental tribes has resulted in the path to the Lighthouse being blocked.
- Skorcheen Island -- This island is a fiery landscape. Doctor Vulko can be found here. The island is unlocked after the Bros. link Heatfreeze Island. Chilliam and Burnadette later retreat here when Reclusa goes on a rampage.
- Slippenglide Island -- This island is frozen, with snow. The Extension Corps lives here, with their house containing a laboratory.

Great Lighthouse Island[]
The Brrrning Sea's Great Lighthouse Island can be visited starting from after Connie and the Bros. talk after Chilliam and Burnadette have their wedding. While she and the Bros. talk, Connie tells of a time when she got cold, and got mittens from Cozette. When the Bros. and Connie arrive, they get caught by Mettozokettoheitachi that took over place, though the Bros. manage to escape. Mario and Luigi sneak past the guards and rescue Connie. The eventually trio meets the Extension Corps. Shun stays behind to assist a toxic sludge slug called the Pipegunk which attacks Mario and Luigi, although the Bros. destroy the monster, after which Connie is brought to the top floor where she reactivates the Great Lighthouse, paving the way to the Gulchrock Sea.
