Bridge

Bridges are a type of platform in the Super Mario series. They first appear in Super Mario World.

Description[]

A Bridge is attached from one side of a wall or platform to typically another one to allow for characters to safely move across the gap between. In the Super Mario series, Bridges are often used like a regular Semisolid Platform, and while several are attached to a wall, there are several that are only built partway across, leaving a gap. Certain levels such as Butter Bridge 2 of Super Mario World feature Bridge segments in midair that Mario or Luigi can jump from.

Bridges prominently appear in Butter Bridge 1, Butter Bridge 2, and Cheese Bridge Area. These Bridges are segmented and made out of logs.
