A Brick Block
Brick Blocks are blocks that appear to be constructed of bricks. They appear in a number of games in the Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Land series, in which they are breakable only as Super Mario and award the player 50 points. They are coloured brown or blue depending on whether the player is over — or underground.
Some brick blocks have items hidden in them. If they do, them the item will come out no mater what state Mario is in. Some brick blocks have power-ups and 1-ups.
