Boxing Day is a 1-vs.-3 Mic minigame in Mario Party 7.
Opening[]
The three team members are standing on a large Bob-omb painting covered by sixteen "?" tiles as the view pans out to reveal the rest of the arena, featuring Bob-ombs in the stands, and the solo character, who is in a robot with two mechanical arms wearing boxing gloves.
Gameplay[]
The three teammates have to dissolve the tiles by ground-pounding them, while the solo character has to knock away the three characters using their robot. The solo characters has to use the Mic to command their machine to perform a variety of actions, which include rotating, double-punching, rocket-punching, or punching either left or right. If the Mic option is off, the commands are selected from a blue box instead. If the robot's gloves or arms hit a teammate, they are eliminated. The solo character wins if they eliminate the other three characters, who instead win if they ground-pound every tile. If five minutes pass without either side meeting their goal, the minigame ends in a tie.
Ending[]
If the solo character wins, they and their robot perform victory poses. If the team members win, they stand on the now-revealed painting, performing their respective victory animation; during this, six Bob-ombs drop onto the solo character's robot and destroy it, after which various parts of it catch on fire due to electrical failures. If the minigame ends in a tie, every character performs their respective losing animation.
