Box Boys are enemies which appear in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are haunted treasure chest enemies found only in Bean Valley.

Battle

In battle, Box Boys often attack physically but can use the deadly Carni-Kiss move. Box Boys can also summon genie-like enemies called Fautsos to aid them in battle. Box Boys also have very high stats which is some of the highest stats of all of the enemies in the game.

Strategy

Box Boys are weak against Jump attack so it is recommended to use Mario's strongest jump move Ultra Jump. Having Geno use his Geno Boost onto Mario to further increase the strength. Defeating a Box Boy results in 100 Experience Points and 150 coins.
