Bowser Gates are an object which appear in Mario Party 9.
Description[]
Bowser Gates are giant gates located in front of the last Boss Battle Space at the end of most boards. The gate can usually be passed through regularly, and in doing so, the character has to face off against a boss.
In Mario Party 9[]
Most boards have a Bowser Gate except DK's Jungle Ruins. In most boards, the Bowser Gate can be passed upon reaching it. However, the Bowser Gate of Boo's Horror Castle has a blockade with the number six. The blockade can crumble if the character rolls a six or higher on their Dice Block, allowing the characters to pass. If not, the number decreases by two, and the characters have to make another loop around the board's final section to reattempt shattering the blockade.
In Bowser Station, the Bowser Gate does not initially appear until after Bowser Jr. loses in his boss minigame. When this occurs, Bowser creates a Boss Battle Space at the start of the board and summons a Bowser Gate.
