Boss Key

The Boss Key is an important item that appears in Donkey Kong 64. They serve as one of the main collectible items in the game alongside the Golden Bananas.

History

As the name states, Boss Keys can be earned from defeating the major bosses from the game after Troff and Scoff open the way to the boss. There are eight Boss Keys in total and each of these keys are needed to unlock the large locks on K. Lumsy's cage.
