Super Mario
Not to be confused with Boss Blitz Galaxy, a galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Boss Blitz is the twelfth and last level of World Flower in Super Mario 3D World.

Features[]

The level begins on a circular grassy platform. There are five Warp Boxes and one locked Warp Box. The five Warp Boxes lead to a boss from a previous world and level. The order of the bosses are: King Ka-Thunk, Pom Pom, Hisstocrat and Queen Hisstocrat, Boss Brolder, and Boom Boom. After the boss in the box is defeated, a Key Coin will appear. Collecting all five Key Coins will unlock the warp box, leading to the sixth and final boss: Motley Bossblob. After defeating him, a warp box leading to the goal pole will appear.

Green Stars[]

  • Green Star 1: Appears after Boss Brolder is defeated.
  • Green Star 2: Appears after Hisstocrat and Queen Hisstocrat are defeated.
  • Green Star 3: Appears after Motley Bossblob is defeated.

Trivia[]

  • Boss Blitz shares many similarities to the Boss Blitz Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy 2, in that they are both optional levels that are boss rushes, and both of them have the name "Boss Blitz".
  • Hisstocrat and Queen Hisstocrat are the only bosses of the level to be fought in pairs.
  • The two fights with Bowser, Prince Bully and Meowser are the only four boss fights of the game to not be included in Boss Blitz, this is likely due to the nature of their battles.
    • In the case with the two fights agents Bowser, its due to their unique fighting style and as such, it would feel out-of-place in this segment.
    • In the case with Prince Bully, its likely due to how Prince Bully is more-or-less a stronger version of an enemy, and given its battle style, its often considered a "Mini-boss".
    • In the case with Meowser, its both due to the fact that he's not fought directly by the Player(s), and the battle's length and overall difficulty, it would be considered too difficult for Player(s).
