The Boomerang Flower is an item first appearing in Super Mario 3D Land as a power-up. They can be obtained from '?' Blocks as well as for defeating Boomerang Bros. It reappears in Super Mario 3D World and in Mario Kart 8 as one of the new items.

Appearance

Boomerang Flowers are white, and are shaped a lot like an actual boomerang, with it curving down to make a 'v' shape. It also has a bright blue stripe across one end. Like most power-ups, the Boomerang Flower has two long black eyes as well.

Usage

The Boomerang Flower grants the user the ability to throw boomerangs but only one at a time unlike the Boomerang Bros. This power-up is mainly useful for attacking enemies from a distance and grabbing distance items such as Green Star or a Star Medal.
