Bombs are an enemy from the Final Fantasy franchise. They appear in Mario Hoops 3-on-3.

Physical description[]
Bombs have often varied in appearance throughout the Final Fantasy games, but in Mario Hoops 3-on3, a Bomb appears as a large, orange flame with an angry expression, yellow eyes with black sclera, and a pitch black opened mouth. In Rainbow Road, Bombs are featured in various colors.
Behavior[]
Bombs jump out of the lava along with several Podoboos. A Bomb floats over the court, and the player can make it explode by touching it with their Stylus.
In Mario Hoops 3-on-3[]
Bombs are encountered in the Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road courts. If a Bomb explodes, any character caught within range of the explosion gets burned and starts running around, as if they had touched a Lava Bubble. If a character touches a Bomb, they get knocked back and lose the ball.
