Blue Key is a reoccurring item in the Paper Mario series.

In Paper Mario, this item is used in the Crystal Palace. It, as the name suggests, is used to unlock a Blue Door. This door is found in the very first room of the palace and this item is found around the first area of that crawling palace.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the Blue Key can be used to unlock the blue cell containing the 90 Punis at The Great Tree. The Blue Key can be found in a room after defeating ten Jabbis.
