Bloocheep Sea takes place underwater, and as such, the characters move around slower while playing here. The court plays an arrangement of the Underwater BGM from Super Mario Bros., and includes 8-bit Bloopers from said game that slowly move their way around the court. If the ball hits a Blooper, it flies off at an angle relevant to how it hit the Blooper. Each basketball hoop has an orange anchor as a backboard. There is a Sushi swimming back and forth in the background, but it has no effect on gameplay. Bloocheep Sea is the only court that has the Mimic item.

Behind the scenes[]

Etymology[]

The first word, "Bloocheep," is an etymology of "Blooper" and "Cheep Cheep."

Trivia[]

  • In Mario Sports Mix, level 2 of the minigame Harmony Hustle contains a piece of music, titled "Bloocheep Ocean". Despite different names, the music on the basketball court is the same as the music in the minigame.
