The Blokkablok is a enemy in Super Mario 3D Land. They are rather uncommon during the earlier and later parts of the game but appear frequently in between.

Physical description[]
It is a snake with several Brick Blocks and Question Blocks as segments, with the Question Blocks containing power-ups such as Super Mushrooms.
Behavior[]
Blokkabloks aren't very aggressive but they do move around in a set pattern formation making right and left turns and deal damage if you touch them or their spiked blocky segments preventing any jump attacks; Blokkabloks are also immune to the effects of the Fire Flower. However, Blokkabloks are not indestructible, and can be defeated by jumping into and destroying all its ? Block and Brick Block segments. If Mario or Luigi is under the effects of the Starman or the Invincibility Leaf, they can defeat a Blokkablok by touching it. A Blokkablok releases several Coins upon being defeated.
Trivia[]
- Blokkabloks are similar to Pile Driver Micro-Goombas (from Super Mario Bros. 3), Blockhoppers (from New Super Mario Bros.) and Fake Blocks (also from Super Mario 3D Land) as they're all different types of species in the form of blocks or brick blocks.
