Block Fort is a Battle Stage which first appears in Mario Kart 64 and returns in Mario Kart DS.
In Mario Kart series[]
Mario Kart 64[]
Block Fort is one of four Battle Stages in Mario Kart 64.
The stage consists of four large fortresses. They are red, blue, yellow and green and are connected by bridges; one on the bottom of the stage and one on the top. The bridges appear to be metal and are gray. The bridge at the top is generally slightly longer than the one at the second level. The floor's color in the course is blue. In this stage, there is a large amount of Item Boxes, notably between the blocks at the lowest level.
Mario Kart DS[]
Block Fort reappears as a retro Battle Stage, and it is the same as before. Despite Choco Mountain and Block Fort both returning in this game, the latter uses the same music as every other battle course. In addition, it is not given the "N64" prefix title, despite also being a retro.
Like every other Battle Stage, Balloon Battle and Shine Runners are both playable on Block Fort, also known to be the largest stage in the game itself.
