Black Shy Guys are a variant of Shy Guy which first appears in Yoshi's Story. They wear a black robe and gray shoes. Black Shy Guys often appear as a more powerful variant of regular Shy Guys, but in some appearances, particularly those in which a Black Shy Guy is playable, it is only a palette swap of a regular Shy Guy.
