The Bigmouth Galaxy is a galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. It is a small water-based galaxy. It is accessed by a Hungry Luma outside the Bedroom, which only appears when Soaring on the Desert Winds has been completed. Penguru is found in this galaxy.

Missions[]

Bigmouth's Gold Bait[]

Mario starts off on the beach with a golden chest. He must take a Koopa Shell and swim through a hole blocked by bricks underwater. He then must collect Star Chips to create a Sling Star that will launch him to the water on the ceiling. Mario can also jump using the shell to reach the water on the ceiling. Mario must take the Golden Koopa Shell on the top area of water and take it back to the golden chest. On the way back, Boos appear, which can be killed using the shell's spotlight. Once Mario throws the Golden Shell at the chest to open it, the Toad Brigade Captain pops out. He gives Mario the Power Star that he found.

Layout[]

The galaxy consists of one main planet, and a bunch of inaccessible water planets. The main planet is shaped like a fish made out of stone, with the starting point being on a sand beach where the fish's mouth is. There is the golden chest, Penguru, and Crabbers here. A water tunnel deeper into the fish is next to the beach, and Mario must go into it with a Green Shell to break a wall of Brick Blocks, leading into a massive lake. This lake has Star Chips sunken in the water, and a ton of enemies like Gringills. Above this lake is a gravity-defying body of water on the ceiling, and in the middle of it lies the Golden Koopa Shell.

Enemies Encountered[]

Trivia[]

  • This galaxy is similar to Slimy Spring Galaxy since they are both underwater-themed and have Captain Toad waiting in a treasure chest.
