Big Blowout is both a 4-player and a Duel Minigame in Mario Party DS.
Layout[]
Each character stands in front of their own row of lit candles on a table with a red tablecloth. If played as a Duel minigame, Big Blowout has only two rows of candles instead of four, because Duel minigames only involve two characters.
Gameplay[]
The objective for each character is to reach the other end, which can be done by blowing out every candle in their path. The player can have their character blow out a candle by blowing into the Nintendo DS's Mic, but only when the character is standing on an unlit candle, not as they are jumping from one candle to the next. It is also possible for a character to blow out two or three candles at once, depending on how strong they blow into the Mic. The first character to reach the end is the winner.
Ending[]
The winner does their victory animation in front of a bunch of lit candles, although their opponents are not shown.
