Big Blob[1] is a mini-boss in Virtual Boy Wario Land.

Wario fights the Big Blob in Stage 7. At one point, the Big Blob is found asleep, blocking a door which leads further into the level. None of Wario's attacks are effective against the Big Blob, so if he tries to attack it, Big Blob only briefly opens its eyes before going back to sleep.
To defeat the Big Blob, Wario has to break several nearby blocks so that a Torny can enter the area. When the Torny touches the Big Blob, the Big Blob quickly shrinks, showing a sad face, and is defeated. Because of this, the door leading to the next area is revealed.
