Baseball is a sports game for the Game Boy, for which it was released as a launch title in 1989. It is generally a regular baseball game, being a remake of the Nintendo Entertainment System game of the same name.
Baseball features Mario and Luigi as playable characters amongst several other regular human baseball players. It is the first baseball game to have Mario in it, predating the first Mario-branded baseball game, Mario Superstar Baseball, and by extension the Mario Baseball series, by about 16 years.
