Barrel Baron

Barrel Baron is an Extra Room minigame in Mario Party 4.

Gameplay[]

This minigame involves the player's character being situated in a hot desert with oil swarming beneath the surface.

The player will be carrying a pick-axe in one hand. The objective here is to find a spot that causes the controller to shake (or make an ! appear over the character's head, should the controller vibration be turned off). After chiseling three times, an oil geyser will begin to spurt. Small geysers reward 1 point, medium geysers reward 10 points, and large geysers reward 100 points. The main goal is to gather as much oil as you can within a time limit of 60 seconds.
