Banana Ball

The Banana Ball is the Star Skill of Donkey Kong in Mario Superstar Baseball and the Star Pitch of Diddy Kong in Mario Super Sluggers.

In Mario Superstar Baseball, the Banana Ball turns the baseball into a banana. If Donkey Kong is pitching, the ball curves across the home plate, but if he is batting, the ball curves across the field. It functions the same as Diddy Kong's Boomerang Ball. In Challenge Mode, Banana Ball only becomes usable once the King Banana has been acquired.

In Mario Super Sluggers, the Banana Ball is no longer usable by Donkey Kong. It is only usable by Diddy as a pitching move, and functions the same as when Donkey Kong uses Banana Ball to pitch in the previous game, or more specifically when Diddy uses his Boomerang Ball to pitch in the previous game.
