Balloon Goombas are enemies appearing in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe they are Goombas attached to a pink, blue or yellow balloons they float from the bottom of the screen all the way to the top if Mario jumps on a Balloon Goomba the balloon will burst becoming and acting like a regular Goomba they are only encountered in the level Skyward Stalk. Balloon Goombas are among the few enemies to not reappear in New Super Luigi U.
