Balloon Fight is a microgame from WarioWare: Touched!. Hence its name, the microgame features a scenario from the 1980s Nintendo Entertainment System game Balloon Fight.

Layout[]

The layout of the microgame changes randomly, but there will always be a certain number of enemies from the game that must be defeated. Bubbles may occasionally spawn and they can be tapped as well, but their destruction is unnecessary.

Gameplay[]

To win this microgame, the player has to tap on the balloons that the enemies are riding. When this happens, the enemies will fall to their deaths. Once they are all defeated, the main character will fly by with his own balloon as the stage clear theme from Balloon Fight plays.

The first difficulty level has three enemies; the second one has four enemies; and the third one level has four, with the main character getting caught in the crossfire. In the latter difficulty level, tapping the protagonist results in automatically losing at the microgame.

Trivia[]

  • Despite the description saying that tapping the enemies (who are referred to as "balloon riders") makes them crash and burn, there is no actual burning.
  • The microgame's command, "Shoot 'em down!," may imply that the character is controlling a character with a gun whose bullets pop the balloons, akin to the microgame based on Duck Hunt.
