Balloon Blast is a Bros. Attack that is introduced in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. Luigi is its initiator and it costs nine Special Points (BP). This move hits enemies at random.
Procedure[]
There is a balloon in the background and Mario and Luigi have to increase the balloon's size by jumping on a teeter-totter. After a certain amount of time, the balloon bursts, scattering smaller balloon bombs that deal damage to foes at random as it does.
Controls[]
Press A and B to ground-pound the seesaw. The higher the Bros. are in their jump, the more the balloon's size augments.
Ratings[]
For an Excellent! rating, make sure the balloon is at its biggest when it explodes.
If the balloon exploded at 40 to 70% the required size, an Okay! is obtained. At 70 to 90%, it's a Good! rating. Great! comes from 90% to 99%, and Excellent! comes from 100%.
