Baboon Blast (Barrelum Perilous) is a special technique used by Donkey Kong in the game Donkey Kong 64. It can be obtained from Cranky Kong at Jungle Japes at the price of three medals.
Usage
Baboon Blast is often one of the most important moves in the game. Baboon Blast is mainly used to help Donkey Kong unlock certain areas. In order to use Baboon Blast, Donkey Kong must locate a blue pad with his face on it. After using Baboon Blast, Donkey Kong will blast into the sky and must shoot himself from barrel-to-barrel in order to reach the end. In some cases, Donkey Kong will go through a DK Star that will unlock a certain thing depend on the location. In other cases, a Golden Banana or Banana Barrel awaits at the end.
