The B Dasher (Bダッシュ B Dasshu?, B Dash) is a kart that appears in the Mario Kart series. The kart is shaped like a Formula 1 race car, colored white with a singular red stripe on the front. It is also equipped with large gray engine block at the back of the kart, with four gray engine pipes. It is the Red Fire's successor from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

The B Dasher debuted in Mario Kart DS, as Mario's exclusive kart in the game. His other karts include the Standard MR and Shooting Star. It may be his signature kart, as it was shown on the Mario Kart DS box cover.

This kart is average on all stats and has more weight and item quality than the other two, in exchange for speed, acceleration, handling, and drift. A similar kart appears in Mario Kart Wii, the Sprinter (Also known as the B Dasher MK2).

It shares its speed with Princess Daisy's Power Flower, its acceleration with Princess Peach's Royale, its weight with Luigi's Streamliner and Donkey Kong's Standard DK, and it shares its handling and drift with Waluigi's Zipper. Its items stat is tied with all other characters' heavier karts.

If Princess Daisy and Waluigi are unlocked, then completing all cups in the 150cc Nitro or Retro Grand Prix will give them the option to use the B Dasher, and all racers can use the B Dasher once all cups in Mirror Mode have been completed. Until then, only Mario can use the B Dasher.

In Mario Kart 7

The B Dasher returns as a Retro Kart body in Mario Kart 7. It is noticeably more powerful than its original Mario Kart DS appearance, as it has more speed and handling, but lowers acceleration and off-road. It is among one of the most popular karts to use within the game.

A computer-controlled Mario has the tendency to use the B Dasher kart body.

The B Dasher, equipped with Slick tires and the Super Glider as Mario is used as the Expert Staff Ghosts for courses Mario Circuit and SNES Mario Circuit 2.

The B Dasher makes a return in Mario Kart 8 in the first DLC pack. It gives a boost in speed and weight but decreases acceleration and traction. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it can be unlocked by collecting a random amount of coins. Also, the B Dasher acceleration and traction is slightly increased, whilst handling is decreased.

In Mario Kart Tour

The B Dasher appears in Mario Kart Tour. It is classified as a High-End kart. The game also introduces three variants, such as the Black B Dasher, Kabuki Dasher and the Red B Dasher. These variants are also classified as High-End karts.

The B Dasher as a Support spirit.

The B Dasher makes an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as sn Ace-class support spirit. If a fighter equips the spirit, the spirit will slightly increase the power of the fighter's neutral special.

Like most spirit battles, the battle parameters are intended to match the spirit. In B Dasher's spirit's case, Mario's wedding costume matches the kart's default color scheme. The "Uncontrollable Speed" rule matches its high acceleration and poor traction.
